Full-scope commercial electrical contracting — fit-outs, three-phase distribution, containment and lighting schemes, through to testing, certification and ongoing maintenance.
DTF Electrical Contractors have spent over fifteen years working on commercial electrical installations across Liverpool, Kirkby and the surrounding area. Our work covers the full scope — design and installation through to testing, certification and ongoing maintenance — for retail, offices, leisure, industrial and managed residential premises.
Our team has delivered fit-out and installation work as an electrical sub-contractor within larger project teams — fixed programmes, tight handover dates, coordination with shopfitters and other trades, and a finish that has to stand up to a brand's own standards inspection.
Three-phase distribution is core work for us. We install and modify distribution boards, sub-mains and final circuits, along with the containment infrastructure that supports them.
We install and upgrade lighting throughout commercial premises — from straightforward LED replacement programmes through to feature and architectural schemes where the lighting is a significant part of how the space works.

We will take on a full unit fit-out with a fixed handover date, and we will come out for a single tripping circuit. Both get the same standard of work and the same paperwork at the end.
Commercial work has to fit around trading. We routinely work evenings, weekends and overnight, phase work so premises stay open, and plan sequencing in advance around tills, servers, refrigeration and anything else that cannot go off.

Common Questions
Yes. A significant amount of our commercial work has been delivered as an electrical sub-contractor on fit-out programmes for retail, leisure and education clients. We are comfortable working to a principal contractor's programme and coordinating with other trades on a live construction site.
There is very little we would turn away on size grounds. We have installed cable containment and distribution across large retail and leisure environments, and we equally take on single-fault call-outs.
Yes. Evening, weekend and overnight working is routine for us, particularly on retail and office sites where daytime disruption is not acceptable.
We work both ways — installing to a consultant's or client's specification, and developing the design ourselves where there is no existing spec.
