DTF Electrical Contractors have been working across Kirkby, Liverpool and the wider Merseyside area for over fifteen years. We are a long-established team of qualified electricians handling both commercial contracting and domestic electrical work.
The balance we aim for is a simple one: small enough to care about a single tripping socket in someone's house, and properly equipped for the commercial work — multi-board fixed wire testing, retail fit-outs, three-phase distribution and planned maintenance contracts.
We take on full commercial fit-outs with fixed handover dates, and we come out for one dead circuit. Both get the same standard of work and the same paperwork at the end.
Every job we complete is properly tested and certified. Where we identify problems, we explain what they mean in plain terms rather than handing over a document full of codes and leaving you to interpret it.
A large part of our work is commercial. Our team has delivered fit-out and installation work as an electrical sub-contractor, working within larger project teams to fixed programmes and handover dates.
Alongside that we handle three-phase distribution, cable containment at scale, commercial lighting schemes, and the compliance side — fixed wire testing, emergency lighting, thermal imaging surveys and planned maintenance.
Large-scale commercial EICR work is the part of the business we most want to grow. Multi-board sites, phased testing programmes, out-of-hours working — the jobs that need planning rather than just turning up.
